Alarm racket by Hanny Michaelis

Alarm racket

tears me away without looking
back from the warm cocoon
of sheets and blankets.

The room looks wonderfully
liveable thanks to vaguely
known clothes on a chair.

When I turn around
sitting on the edge of my bed
a naked man. Seeing
his smile I think:
the woman who lives here
is to be envied.
